Sunday night on NBC, the Cleveland Browns (6 – 5) take on the Baltimore Ravens (7 – 3). At 8:20 PM EST, this matchup at MT Bank Stadium will help decide the tightly contested AFC North division.
These two rivals have each won two out of their last three games, but it will be the Cleveland Browns seemingly with an extra level of urgency. Despite the .545 record, Cleveland is currently last place in their division.
Last season when these two teams faced each other, the game ended with a Lamar Jackson led drive that ended with a Justin Tucker field goal. The matchups are always tightly contested as of late between these two teams, though their historical record is led by the Ravens (33 – 11).
With Lamar Jackson ill, backup Tyler Huntley adequately led the Ravens to the winning touchdown in the final minute against the Chicago Bears. LamarJackson is expected to return this weekend however.
With two matchups in the next three weeks for these rivals, the Browns and Ravens will look to make up ground and set themselves apart respectively. It’s important to note that this is the fifth primetime game for the Ravens this season, and so far they have split the first four. The Cleveland Browns have won their only primetime game against the Denver Broncos this season.
